The Magic Dice
The group participated in an entertaining dice game that produced endearing monster characters.
Each artist received a piece of paper on which a single, large shape had already been drawn.
Each time the dice was thrown the artists were asked to draw one body part of the monster - mouth, eyes, nose, ears, hair, legs or arms.
The amount of body parts that were drawn depended on the number the dice landed on. For example six legs, three ears, four eyes and so on.
This activity supported the artists' learning of numbers and body parts in the English language.
